You have got to be kidding. This person twice paid $13 just to get scores quickly over the phone, and complains that two AP tests that cost her $77 each -- but notes "Since he passed both AP exams, he earned college credit". Any IDEA what 6 hours of college credit costs these days? So this person gets 6 (or more!) semester hours of credit, which their beloved Yale charges over $8,000 for!! (look it up!) and she complains?? But she has money just to satisfy her need for immediate gratification (but not enough self-awareness to prevent her from complaining about the $13!)? ? And then complaining that PROFILE financial aid form "costs extra" -- when it enables private money grants from private Colleges unavailable from Federal or other sources, that only require the "free" form -- which then largely results in LOANS you pay back. And there is no hint of why $77 for an AP test is high -- as if preparing, equating, pre-testing, updating and synchronizing a college level Biology exam used by a tens of thousands of students and valued and accepted by hundreds or thousands of colleges, which save students THOUSANDS of dollars in tuition each, “should” cost – what? $9.50? like a general test of reasoning given to MILLIONS of kids each year? (and subsidized by others). This litany of complaints is an embarrassing example of the “entitlement mentality” of people today. People like this should move to countries where they think everything is “free”, and see just what “free” costs.
