Overview Chemeketa Community College offers a full tuition scholarship for up to two years to any graduating high school student residing in our district who has a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better (as of first semester/quarter grades of final year in high school) and achieves the required minimum placement test scores. Home-schooled students are also eligible with qualifying SAT or ACT scores. Potential applicants and their families can attend the upcoming information session next month. Learn more.  How to Apply Students need to: Apply for fall 2014 admission to Chemeketa Take the COMPASS placement test Print and complete the Chemeketa Scholars application Obtain a copy of their unofficial high school transcript (home-schooled students need SAT/ACT scores) Submit the Chemeketa Scholars application, high school transcript (or scores for home-schooled students), and placement test scores between March 3 and 7, 2014.  Eligibility Applicants need to: Attend high school in (or be a resident of) Chemeketa's district Graduate high school in January or June 2014 Earn a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or better (as of first semester/quarter grades of final year in high school) Earn minimum COMPASS placement test scores in reading, writing and math Enroll full-time at Chemeketa the fall immediately following graduation Home-schooled students are eligible (with required SAT/ACT scores) Military veterans may be eligible  More Information Website: go.chemeketa.edu/scholars E-mail: scholars@chemeketa.edu Phone: 503.399.5129 We are mailing postcards to eligible juniors and seniors from the Salem-Keizer Public Schools system. If you would like us to mail our postcard to eligible students from your high school, we will be happy to pay for the postage. Please contact me to make arrangements for a mailing to your students.
