Overview
Dear Janet,
Chemeketa
Community College offers a full tuition scholarship for up to two years
to any graduating high school student residing in our district who has a
cumulative GPA of 3.5 or
better (as of first semester/quarter grades of final year in high
school) and achieves the required minimum placement test scores.
Home-schooled students are also eligible with qualifying SAT or ACT
scores.

Chemeketa is hosting two information sessions for interested students and their families.

Eligibility
-
Attend high school (or be a resident of) Chemeketa's district)
-
Graduate high school in January or June 2016
-
Earn a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or better (as of first semester/quarter grades of final year in high school)

Earn minimum COMPASS placement test scores in reading, writing and math
-
Enroll full-time at Chemeketa the fall immediately following graduation
-
Home-schooled students are eligible (with required SAT/ACT scores)

How to Apply

Apply for fall 2016 admission to Chemeketa
-
Take the COMPASS placement test
-
Print and complete the Chemeketa Scholars application
-
Obtain a copy of their unofficial high school transcript (home-schooled students need SAT/ACT scores)
-
Submit
the Chemeketa Scholars application, high school transcript (or SAT/ACT
scores for home-schooled students), and placement test scores between
February 29 and March 4, 2016

are mailing postcards to eligible juniors and seniors from Salem-Keizer
Public Schools. If you would like us to mail our postcard to eligible
students from your high school, we
will be happy to pay for the postage.
Please
contact me to make arrangements for a mailing to your students. I can
also send you postcards for distribution in your school.
