IMPORTANT STEPS TO TAKE NOW TO HELP YOU PURSUE EDUCATION AFTER HIGH SCHOOL
1. Both students and parents must get an FSA (Financial Student Aid) ID n order to file their FAFSA. https://fsaid.ed.gov/ npas/index.htm.
Get your FAFSA done by Jan. 30 to be considered for the Oregon Opportunity Grant
2. Be prepared to do your FAFSA during a work session in Advisory Jan. 19.
3. If you are headed to community college, complete your Oregon Promise application. http://www. oregonstudentaid.gov/oregon- promise.aspx
4. Investigate – and apply for -- the scholarships mentioned in Tiger Times.
5. Complete the OSAC scholarship application.
Early bird deadline is Feb. 15.
